A woman who divorced her husband of 14 years has been ghosted by her new man. Amanda Trenfield, a woman who has been married for 14 years reportedly left her husband after meeting a man she believed was her ”soul mate”. According to her, she met the man at a group dinner at a work conference and she was immediately smitten.
As detailed in her memoir ”When a Soulmate says no”, she did not hesitate to end her marriage as she believed she had met her soulmate. Ironically, she had gone to the conference with her husband to recreate the spark in their marriage. After ending her marriage with her ex-husband, she reached out to the man after one month, asking for them to meet.
Initially, he agreed to meet up with Amanda when she was in town for a funeral, but he sent an email the next day stating he no longer wanted to meet with her. As Amanda explained, he said it would not be a good idea to meet up with her or stay in touch, and further advised her to take care of herself.
Although the man made it clear, Amanda said she found it really hard to let go and ended up drafting a reply that was emotional and vulnerable. Unfortunately, he did not reply her message and Amanda said it left her heartbroken. She said ” I was heartbroken. My soul had been smashed into a million pieces.
However, she agreed with herself that she had to move forward, and did that in two years. She did this by documenting the stages of her heartbreak. Presently, she has described what it felt like, and how she has been able to cope with being single once again. While meeting the man lit the spark in her life, she is grateful for how far she has come.
