Emilia Clarke has been famous since the release of the famous show Game of Thrones. Her character development in the series is what endeared most of her fans to her, alongside the storyline of her character and…of course the nude scene. While the series is noted for its plot, graphic scenes and nudity of its actors, a lot of fans have paid particular attention to Emilia and her nude scenes in the series.
People’s interest in the role she played has often made some people feel she is only good at playing nude scenes or movies involving nudity. When interviewed, the actress herself stated that she did not expect to play nude scenes in the series as she was very young and basically a newbie in acting.
It was later in that she discovered that she will be shooting nude scenes, and was basically pressurized by the show runners to shoot the nude scenes. Although she started off feeling very uncomfortable in the first couple of seasons of the show, she had gained confidence by the time the show was on its sixth season. She had become so confident that she did not use a body double for the scenes involving nudity.
After the show, it appears several fans and viewers have come for Emilia as regards her nude scenes, and some have even concluded that she only takes movie roles involving nudity. This is not true as there have been other movies which Emilia starred in that did not involve nudity.
To make the situation clearer, Emilia was reported to have declined a role in Fifty shades of Grey because of the amount of nudity involved. Although we know the reason why she made this decision, it was also for the reason to not being pigeonholed into movie scenes involving nudity. This goes a long way to prove that talented actress Emilia has a lot more to offer than just nudity in movie scenes.
