Anyone who does not know Game of Thrones or some of the show’s famous stars must definitely be living under a rock. Since it was first released in 2011, the show went on to release 7 more seasons and have gained a massive fan base since then. Of course the stars of the show have equally become popular after the series, yet some have attained more recognition than others.
One of such stars is Emilia Clarke, as she has gained a enormous fanbase following her role as Daenerys Targaryen. So huge is her fame, that lots of people do not refer to her by her real name anymore, as she is more commonly and fondly called Khaleesi, The mother of dragons, The unburnt, or Queen of the seven kingdoms.
Anyone who has seen the series knows it is set in the medieval times, and will agree that some scenes were disturbing to watch. If we the viewers and general public feel that way about watching some of the scenes, we can only imagine what it must have felt like for the actors who filmed them.
In the series, there was a lot of sexual violence, nudity, violence and graphic scenes displayed. With special effects very much in use, it is easy to assume that some of the graphic content were edited, but what about the nude scenes.
According to Emilia, she felt uncomfortable filming some scenes and would even cry before they are filmed. She mentioned that filming all the nude scenes were uncomfortable for her. She also stated that although it was not her first time on set, it was her first time filming in the nude with several crew members around watching.
Apparently, she was not the only one uncomfortable as her co-star Jason Momoa who played her character’s husband was reportedly uncomfortable himself. Fortunately, Emilia said she was able to film them all, thanks to Jason who would always encourage her and be nice to her before and during filming.
