There is no disputing the fact that Kate Middleton is a well-accepted member of the royal family. Having been with Prince William while they were both in college, she has always been around the royal family even before they got married. As Prince William’s wife, the bond she shares with the late Queen has only grown stronger as seen in pictures and image of them laughing and smiling together.
When we look at some pictures of Kate Middleton with the queen, it is plainly obvious that the late Queen Elizabeth II saw Kate as more than the wife of her grandson. She obviously regarded her as a daughter, as she seemed so relaxed and happy whenever Kate was around her.
On the other hand, Kate Middleton always seemed genuinely happy when she was with the Queen, as it looked like she was with her own mother. It is not surprising that most people do not know Kate’s biological mother as most picture are of her and the Queen being a mother-daughter duo.
Meghan Markle is married to Prince Harry, and has only been so for a couple of years. Although the Queen is wonderful to Meghan as she has said, there was not enough time to actually build a relationship between the two. When compared to the relationship the Queen has with Kate and how long she has known her, it certainly does not come close.
While we can all agree that Meghan is as courteous and respectful as she should be to the Queen, there is no close relationship between the two. The Sussexes moving away and stepping back from their royal duties only made it more difficult to cultivate a relationship between the Queen and Meghan.
