Kelly Preston has been seen holding her family tight in a heartbreaking final picture as she kept her cancer battle secret.
The actress died yesterday aged 57 after losing her fight with breast cancer.
News of her health battle had been kept under wraps until after her death, with no mention of her struggles on social media.
Kelly’s last picture was posted on Instagram on June 22 as the family celebrated father’s Day together.
The Jerry Maguire star was seen hugging her husband John and their two kids, Ella, 20, and son Benjamin, nine.
She captioned it: “Happy Father’s Day to the best one I know, we love you.”
John then commented: “I love you all so much.”
She previously posted a sweet snap with her daughter Ella in May, writing in the Instagram post: “My beautiful babies… I love you with all of my heart. xxx”
One picture showed her cuddling up to Ella at a book store, while another was a picture of her son Benjamin on a fishing trip.
Prior to that she was last seen in a selfie with her husband John back in February.
The couple were spending time together at home, and she wrote: “Just hanging out on a Saturday afternoon!”
Her last public appearance was at the premiere of gangster movie Gotti in New York in June 2018, when she walked the red carpet with her husband.
She had been undergoing medical treatment for “some time” according to a family statement, but chose to keep her cancer fight private.
The sad news of Kelly’s death was confirmed this morning with a family representative telling People.com: “On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife and mother, passed away following a two-year battle with breast cancer.
