Besides numerous charity organisations that she is involved in, including the one named after her son Archie, it is quite hard to mention or keep track of what Meghan Markle has contributed to the royal family that she is married into. Bear in mind that having or being part of a charity organisation does not means you have contributed to the family.
A charity organization benefits a group of people and the country, not a family, and being a part of so many does not make you a better person. This can be said about Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, who became the duchess after her marriage to prince Harry. Since her marriage, Meghan has become a part of several charity organizations.
Although the aim of doing charity is to help others, we have failed to see the one thing that Meghan has done for the royal family since she became a member. While it is unfair to say anyone married into the royal family should do something for the benefit of the crown, we expect that a member of the family carries out some form of activity for the good of the crown.
This is why all members of the royal family, whether born into or married into, engage in a duty for the good of the crown and the country. In Meghan’s case, there is sadly no positive contribution from her to the royal family.
One one hand, we can say that she has contributed positively by giving them publicity than before. The royal family is famous no doubt, but the controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan, the interview and their comments and accusations on the royal family as well as their movement to the USA has had people taking more interest in the affairs of the royal family matters.
While we cannot point out one thing she has done, we can certainly say she has given the British royal family a different kind of publicity.
