Prince Harry Visited Gravesham's Youth Service During His Trip To UK

Prince Harry met with young adults to ‘share personal stories about how social media affects their mood, well-being, and interactions with family’ on a visit to a Gravesham’s youth service during his trip to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, talked with youth from The Gifted Young Gravesham (GYG), with the meeting thought to have taken place when the prince was in Britain in September with wife Meghan Markle, prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

A resurfaced image from the visit showed a beaming Prince Harry posing alongside those he had chatted to from the youth service.

A statement about the event read: ‘As part of Archewell Foundation’s ongoing commitment to a future of tech that works for families, Archewell Foundation hosted a conversation with Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and the amazing young people of The Gifted Young Gravesham (GYG), a partner organization to 5Rights Foundation, an Archewell ally focused on improving online safety for young people everywhere.

‘The young adults shared personal stories about how social media affects their mood, well-being, and interactions with peers, teachers, and family.

‘These important stories and experiences continue to help leaders contextualize the global conversation around online harms and inspire new partnerships, ideas, and policies for solving the challenges young people and parents face in a digital world.’
