On Wednesday, the nominees for the People’s Choice Awards were revealed, and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle received a nomination!
The podcast hosted by Prince Harry’s wife, titled “Achetypes,” was nominated in the “Best Pop Podcast of 2022” category.
In the most recent episode of the podcast, released on Tuesday the 25th, Meghan hosted actress Issa Rae and comedian Ziwe Fumudoh and the trio discussed the “angry black woman” stereotype.
The winners of the People’s Choice Awards are chosen by popular vote and the Duchess’ podcast will have to compete with the podcasts: “Anything Goes with Emma Chemberlain”, “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard”, “Call Her Daddy”, “Conan O’ Brian Needs A Friend”, “Not Skinny But Not Fat”, “SmartLess” and “Why Won’t You Date Me? with Nicole Byer”.
“What’s so beautiful is looking at the legacy that she was able to leave on so many fronts. Certainly, in terms of female leadership, she is the most shining example of how that works.
“I feel a deep sense of gratitude to have been able to spend time with her and get to know her,” she stated.
