Fast-rising and popular Nollywood actress Ese Eriata has stated her disagreement in parents choosing a spouse or partner for their children. She said she frowns at the idea of having to spend the rest of your life with someone your parents picked.
The actress felt this way because she said the whole marriage will be one sided and will only consider the interests of the parents and not the child. Furthermore, she also believes such unions and marriages do not last.
Truthfully, most of us agree with Ese because the individuals matched by their parents have different interests and personalities. There would be personality clashes and eventually, both parties would end up regretting the marriage.
The actress Ese made all these statements and claim on her Instagram page, putting it up on her story for people to see. It will be interesting to note that she went all out to criticize parents that choose spouses for their children.
Finally, she concluded by saying all tribes are equal and there is no reason to say your child should not marry from a certain tribe.
