Javone Duncan — a 22-year-old career criminal — waa apparently enraged when Cameron turned down his advance and fired a shot into her chest and run away on October 11, Brooklyn prosecutors alleged.
The unfortunate incident took place in a vacant apartment where the defendant was flirting with the victim.

It was reported that the defendant has asked the victim to suck his d–k, the victim turned him down and the defendant brandished a handgun and shot her in the chest, leading to the victim’s demise.
Police confirmed that a trail of blood led from the sixth-floor apartment at the Eldert Lane building, onto the elevator and into the lobby where the victim was found mortally wounded.

She was then quickly was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
While Cameron’s mother believed that she was dead already when they put her in the hallway like a bag of garbage.
Police initially believed the shooting was accidental but later ruled it a homicide.

This is not the first police case of Duncan.
His first case – September 3, 2020. Cops spotted Duncan driving a 2005 Kia with Florida license plates with the headlights off shortly before 1 a.m. in Crown Heights.
They recovered a loaded 25-caliber Taurus handgun and a bag of marijuana in the car, and was charged with weapons possession and vehicle and traffic violations.
Duncan is due to return to court in Brooklyn on November 1 in the murder case of Cameron. He had been taken into custody at the 75th Precinct stationhouse since.
