Tons of royal followers stood
for over two hours within the stifling warmth hoping to take a selfie with
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the Düsseldorf city corridor on Tuesday.
Hordes of Germans and Brits
queued alongside steel boundaries while waving Union Jacks because the couple
arrived for the Invictus Video games 2023 One 12 months To-Go occasion.
Most appeared real followers
as they donned paper masks of the Queen and royal regalia as they tried to
usher the couple over for a fast image and a chat.
Others admitted they had been
attracted by the circus that follows the pair, with one younger lady saying she
discovered them ‘impolite to the Royal Household’ but needed to see them as
a result of their ‘like cleaning soap stars’.
Among the many crowds had been
former serviceman Bob Clark and his spouse Lily who had been dressed for the
event. Clark wore an ermine gown, crown, and masks of the Queen protecting his
face.
His spouse clutched a bag
celebrating the wedding of Harry and Meghan and wore a Union Jack coat and hat.
The couple traveled from
their house in Duisburg to point out their help for the royal household –
regardless that California-based Harry and Meghan are not working members of
