Here’s the Duchess of
Cambridge going to great lengths to look glamorous last night – and pulling it
off superbly.
She arrived at the prestigious
Thirty Club with her husband Prince William to give a speech after accepting a
long-standing invitation from bosses.
But Kate, 30, stole the show
in a full-length, fitted cream evening gown – thought to be a £1,000 Roland
Mouret Lombarde creation, similar to one Carla Bruni wore to a French banquet
in 2010.
And there were shades of
Angelina Jolie’s famous leg-bombing episode on the Oscars red carpet in Kate’s
thigh-high split gown.
Kate accessorized her outfit
with diamond drop earrings, a silver clutch bag and silver vertiginous heels
with open toes, meaning she had to eschew her usual nude tights and go
bare-legged.
Meanwhile, her hair was in its
usual style, with loose curls falling down around her shoulders.
