William and Kate Reveal Daughter Charlotte Had a 'Lovely' Birthday

Prince William and Kate
Middleton said their daughter had a ‘lovely’ celebration in a message to
well-wishers.

The card featured a picture of
Charlotte taken by mum Kate to mark her big day in May.

A snap of it was posted to
Instagram by a fan who collects notes from the Royal Family, going by the handle
of @katsroyalletters.

‘Thank you for the kind
birthday message which you sent for Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday’, it
reads.

‘Princess Charlotte had a
lovely day and your message was greatly appreciated by the Duke and Duchess of
Cambridge who sends you their very best wishes.’

It comes after the young
Cambridge caught attention by making all sorts of faces as she
cheered on Commonwealth athletes – although, it has to be said, nothing to
compete with her brother Prince Louis’ antics at the Platinum Jubilee.

She looked on the edge of her
seat as she went to watch the swimming with her parents earlier in August.

The fourth in line to the
throne was thrilled back in July when the Lionesses secured the first major
football tournament title for an England team since 1966.

Filmed alongside her dad
in a sweet video beforehand, she had told them: ‘I hope you win.’

The family is believed to be
moving this summer from Kensington, west London to
Adelaide Cottage, Windsor, to be closer to the Queen.

Reports suggest the
children ‘will not have a live-in nanny for the first time in their lives’.
