Kyle Sandilands has branded
Meghan Markle an “imbecile” after the royal accused the British press of
calling her children the “N-word”.
In an explosive interview
for New York magazine, The Cut supplement, the Duchess of
Sussex explained why she hated having to share family photos with the UK
tabloids.
During her time as an active
member of the Royal Family, the former actress was expected to release pictures
of her now three-year-old son, Archie, to the press.
“Why would I give the very
people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can
share it with the people that love my child?” the 41-year-old told The Cut.
You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”
During The Kyle and
Jackie O Show on Tuesday, the shock jock and his co-host Jackie ‘O’
Henderson weighed in on Meghan’s claims.
The KIIS FM presenters agreed
it was time for the Duchess to move on from her feud with the UK press.
The radio duo also wondered
how the royal could have learned newsrooms allegedly used racial insults, as
she did not name names or identify her source.
“She needs to get over it.
She’s an imbecile,” Sandilands scoffed.
Henderson spoke about
the Suits alum’s complaints about having to provide photos of her
children.
She said: “If you’re joining
the Royal Family, yes, they have these rules in place, and they have done for
many, many years. You can’t come in and just go, ‘I don’t agree with your rules
so I’m not going to do it’.
