“This film was so hard
that pranks had no place. There was never downtime,” says Sandra, 49
today, of the film which involves astronauts attempting to return to Earth
after debris crashed into their space shuttle.
“How are you going to
prank someone who’s hanging from a scaffold with 12 wires, rigged up all day?
So we had a truce at the very get-go because that just wasn’t the place to
prank.”
George’s famous past tricks
include putting potted plants in front of Julia Roberts’ trailer door so she
couldn’t get out and soaking the front of fellow actor Ryan Gosling’s trousers
while the pair were filming The Ides of March.
