When The Brown Bunny premiered at Cannes in 2003, the audience was
shown a film that guaranteed they would never forget who Chloe Sevigny is. In
the film, she gives her co-star Vincent Gallo an actual beej (that’s short for
blow job) and has since confirmed that it is indeed real.
Lie
with Me
If the sex in Lie with Me looks real, it’s because it is. Lauren Lee
Smith, who you may know from The L Word and Eric Balfour who has
appeared in Haven and 24 confirmed that they really got it
on for this movie.
Caligula
Caligula, the 1979 film about the fall of the Roman emperor, was produced by a
guy named Bob Guccione, who just happened to be the founder of Penthouse
Magazine. That probably makes the fact that this movie features some pretty
intense unsimulated sex on-screen just a little less surprising. While Helen
Mirren and Malcolm McDowell star in the film, they aren’t in the graphic sex
scenes. Those were filmed in private and then edited into the film.
Shortbus
It was a team effort when it came to the authentic sex scenes in Shortbus,
an erotic drama from 2006. Director John Cameron Mitchell encouraged the actors
to have real orgasms in the provocative film about people who go to a sex
saloon. In fact, he jumped into the action himself by going down on a woman in
the final scene of the movie.
Intimacy
Intimacy has remained surprisingly mainstream since its release in 2001.
The film features Kerry Fox providing some pretty serious fellatio to her
co-star, Academy Award winner Mark Rylance.
