Hospital In Lagos State Shuts Down Over Accusation Of Death

A hospital in Lagos, Medville
Global Health Center at Ago Palace way in Okota area of Lagos State has been
shut down by the Lagos State government.

The action was taken after one
Chibuike Nwachukwu accused the hospital of being responsible for his wife’s
death.

The Executive Secretary of the
Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA), Abiola Idowu
stated that a preliminary investigation revealed that the hospital was not
registered with HEFAMAA, and did not have adequate medical personnel.

Nwachukwu alleged that his
wife died due to the medical incompetence of the hospital.
