Nollywood filmmakers Ifeoma Chukwuogo and Isioma Osaje have come for
each other over claims of mistreatment involving a popular executive producer.
In a thread following the ongoing trend on horrible bosses, Ifeoma
accused Osaje of badmouthing her for turning down a job involving her godfather.
She said: “Not sis who consistently badmouthed me to industry folks
(which sha came back to me) because I simply said no to an offer from her God
Father – for very valid legal reasons – also yanning “let’s talk about
Nollywood horrible bosses’ edition”. Lmaoo let’s all fear God please.”
Reacting to the tweet, Osaje called for proof and in another tweet
insisted Chukwuogo tried to make her the fall guy instead of calling out the
offender ‘executive producer’.
She said: “Don’t talk through the corners. You’ve got to share
proof of this bad-mouthing you say I did and the mistreatment of crew you’re
insinuating. @FizzyThatcher”
While the identity of the ‘godfather producer’ was not disclosed, the
heated exchange appears to be the first on what seems like a can of worms
waiting to explode if a Nollywood version of the #horriblebosses is introduced.
