For me, I was shocked that Charlize Theron was
the one that played the ‘killer’ character in a movie. Charlize Theron played
killer Aileen Wuornos in the movie Monster (2003).
Theron plays killer Aileen Wuornos who had a
rough life. She was raped and abused by men throughout her life. Wuornos then
kills men throughout Florida.
Aileen Wuornos was executed by lethal
injection by the state of Florida in 2002. She was 46 years old.
Due to that movie, Charlize Theron won an
Academy Award for Best Actress for playing Aileen Wuornos in Monster (2003).
Charlize Theron is a beautiful woman and
plays the role so well. You would never guess that Wuornos’s character was
played by Theron.
Another thing that shocked me was knowing
that she witnessed her mother shoot her father to death when he was drunkenly
threatening them, and I think that must have been horrible.

African-born actress who was noted for her versatility and earned an Academy
Award for best actress for her performance as a real-life serial killer in Monster (2003).
I think I’ve read that her mother lives with
her and helps care for her adopted children. In 2007, Theron became a
naturalized citizen of the U.S. while retaining her South African citizenship.
she lives in Los Angeles.
Theron has
two adopted children: a daughter, Jackson in March 2012 and another daughter,
August, born in July 2015. children in them. Theron revealed (April 2018) that
Jackson, then seven years old, is a transgender girl. Theron: “They were
born who they are, and exactly where in the world both of them get to find
themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.”
