That’s
a weird question. But speaking of their careers, I believe Brad Pitt is more
invested in his career as an actor, while Angie runs a multitude of personal projects
and making Hollywood films is not always her top choice. And speaking of their
talent, they’re both incredibly talented but Brad has invested so much more in
acting, growing as an actor, trying different things and consolidating his name
in Hollywood. The result? He’s probably one of the greatest actors of his
generation.
I believe despite being a
good actress, Angie didn’t choose to invest that much in her Hollywood career,
prioritizing other causes instead, and because of that, her name doesn’t weigh
as much as his when it comes to Hollywood. But of course, while the sexism in
Hollywood is clearly involved in this perception, I also believe is greatly her
choice. And it’s totally fine.
Furthermore, Pitt makes an estimated $35+ million per movie while
Angie gets $20+ million. For instance, the movie (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) that
started the Brangelina Big Fuss—-Pitt received $20 million, Jolie $10 million,
for equal screen time.
Jolie
does better than 90+% of Hollywood actresses, but, Pitt not only gets a spot in
front of the camera & also a seat at the production table.
All told,
Brad’s movies have made $10+/- billion worldwide, while Angie’s films $6+
billion.
So my take is, they’re both
