Prince William and Catherine have known one another for twenty years, and they’ve been a couple for about the last nineteen years. They have their work home in London, and they love their country home on the Sandringham Estate; where the couple has fun playing outside in the fresh air. Catherine loves William, not because he’s a prince; but in spite of it.
I imagine she might have been taken with having the Prince William at St. Andrews, but being the shy person she typically is at first blush, Catherine said she scuttled away from him when they first met. When William saw Catherine in that sheer dress at the school’s fashion show, he tried to kiss her; but Catherine was dating another man and turned away from William. I think Catherine’s character in that moment shined through to William, and he didn’t just think she was “hot”; she was a woman with good principles.
Think of all the women who had thrown themselves at Prince William, mainly due to him being a prince. The most famous prince, and he didn’t lack for girlfriends growing up; but university life in Scotland in a little town was very different; and so William thought about leaving. He didn’t leave, and he found himself often swimming laps in the pool with the sporty Catherine. Or they would happen to be running in the early morning, both being early risers.
I think William found Catherine very appealing. And what I appreciate from their dating days in college is the completely natural way Catherine dressed. She didn’t fuss over her hair or clothes or make-up! Classic university student all the way. Once they were formally out in the open, Catherine did dress up more, and the couple decided in 2007 that they would marry; though the public knew nothing of their agreement. William found Catherine to be beautiful, smart, and classy.
I believe they are very happy, being well-matched and helping the other in their royal work. They look very much in love, and as the couple grows more confident in their roles, the chemistry and respect between William and Catherine is palpable.
I’d say they are very much in love. I’d even say are their soulmates. And goodness!!! they have beautiful children. Look at the images below, and you’ll feel their chemistry, even if they don’t often hug in public. It’s obvious in the photos, and isn’t that fabulous? I’d say they are very happy. It shows.
A couple who laughs together is a lucky thing, since so most couples don’t have that. The Queen and Prince Philip laughed together, and I see so many similarities between Prince William and Catherine. They have fun together, they love their children, and they love their lives. They love and are in love. With each other.
