The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their eldest child, Prince George, are among the football fans to cheer on the England team as Gareth Southgate’s squad take on Germany in Tuesday’s Euro 2020 last-16 fixture.

Prince William, who is President of The Football Association, will be joined by his wife Kate at Wembley stadium.

Avid football fan William was in attendance for the Three Lions’ final group game as they defeated the Czech Republic 1-0.

The Duke was left delighted after seeing Aston Villa captain, Jack Grealish, set up the only goal of the game for Raheem Sterling.

William’s appearance at Wembley follows his trip to Scotland with his grandmother, the Queen, to mark Royal Week or Holyrood Week

On Monday, the monarch and her grandson visited the Irn-Bru factory, where William sampled some of the iconic drink, and they also attended the Ceremony of the Keys at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.

The young Prince stood for the National Anthem with his parents at the start of the game.

He twinned with dad William in a jacket, shirt and tie, while mum Kate donned a red Zara blazer.

George, seven, attended his first football match along with his sister, Princess Charlotte, in October 2019, watching Norwich City vs Aston Villa at Carrow Road Stadium.

The young royal was also pictured in an England shirt for the official photos to mark his sixth birthday in 2019.

Although Prince George is a keen football, along with his father, this is the youngster’s first time visiting the Euros.

And Prince William served as a doting father, helpfully pointing things out to his eldest son.

During the half-time break, the Prince spoke to one of his sporting heroes, David Beckham, presumably to share their happiness that England hadn’t conceded.

Prince George was also seen on the sidelines, watching his father chat.
