Princess Eugenie, who recently welcomed her first child with Jack Brooksbank, has dedicated a post to her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and sister, Princess Beatrice on Instagram.
In the post, which is in anticipation of International Women’s Day, she has asked her followers to share stories of women who have inspired them, and has promised to share them in a collection to mark the day.
The post shows a picture of Sarah Ferguson, in a green dress and hat to match, and Princess Beatrice in a purple ensemble, both waving in front of a church; with a priest in the background.
Prince Eugenie captioned the post
“My mum and sister inspire me every day. To celebrate International Women’s Day next week, I’d love to share some stories of the women who inspire you. So please send me your stories and pictures (as a direct message on here) and on Monday I’ll share a collection and we can celebrate the incredible roles women have played all over the world.”
In her CNBC’s Finding Solutions interview with Tanya Bryer, the Princess talked about her Anti- Slavery initiative which she co-founded in 2017, and the hopes she has for her son, August Hawke Brooksbank, just before his birth, saying that
“I think my child hopefully will be one of those people who will continue to see the world as a place that can be changed.
“I would love people to continue to have hope that we can make a difference.
“I hope that the world will be a place where my child can have hope and continue to know that they can make a big difference.”
