Sophie Wessex and Prince Edward, the Earl and Countess of Wessex have revealed parts of their exquisite home in Bagshot Park, Surrey since the pandemic started back in 2020. These reveals began with the Countess in June 2020, and a new video of Prince Edward shows a never before seen room.
The room appears to be furnished in Moroccan-Esque decor, with orange velvet pillows, and an orange and gold baroque print window blind to match! The background structure is set in wood and there are carved pieces of art that are strikingly similar to Moroccan architecture are the final touch that bring the entire room together.
In the video clip, we see the Earl thanking the essential workers of North Yorkshire for their efforts and commitment during the pandemic. This new video was posted on the Royal family official Twitter account, and the video caption named specific North Yorkshire community leaders. The caption read
“The Earl thanked community leaders in North Yorkshire: Drs Amanda Vipond and Kim Chandler, Mountain Rescue Leader Mike Gallagher, Chief Constable Richard Lewis, The Very Reverend John Dobson, @Welcome2Yorks’ James Mason, @Northyorkscc’s Richard Flinton.”
The Earl and Countess of Wessex relocated to Bagshot Park Mansion after their nuptials in 1999, and have lived at their family home for over 20 years with their two children, Lady Louise and Viscount James.
The mansion is currently estimated to house 120 rooms after it was demolished and renovated as far back as in 1879.
