For her routined Sunday service attendance the Queen was spotted arriving at church in Windsor on Sunday morning.
Her majesty looked warm in a mint-colored boucle jacket and a turquoise hat as she sat at the back seat of the car, driven to the Church of All Saints, which is situated in the grounds of Royal Lodge – the home of the Queen’s second son, the Duke of York.
The Royal Chapel of All Saints where the Queen worshipped yesterday is a Royal Peculiar, and serves as an informal parish church for the inhabitants and staff of the Windsor Great Park.
The Monarch possibly attended for privacy reasons and so does all other members of the British Royal family.
Her jewelry was pearl earrings and a sapphire brooch which was pinned to Her Majesty’s jacket. She completed the look with a pop of dark red lipstick. Obviously, she was not accompanied by any member of the royal family on this occasion as is her usual pattern.
Last week, the Queen displayed support on her instagram account for her grandson Prince Harry’s collaboration with Jon Bon Jovi as the US rock star recorded a special single with the Invictus Games choir at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Also upon her invitation, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be with the Queen and the royal family at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on 9 March.
