For the first time since MEGxit announcement, Meghan Markle will appear together at an official engagement today with her husband, Prince Harry.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will be at an awards ceremony for wounded service personnel- the
annual Endeavour Fund Awards at Mansion House which acknowledges the achievements of wounded or sick servicemen and women who have taken part in remarkable sporting and adventure challenges. The Endeavour Fund was set up by the Royal Foundation to financially support adventure and sporting projects that’ll aid the recovery of veterans.
The Queen’s grandson is expected to give a short speech, and the Sussexes will hand out four awards, which include; Recognising Achievement Award, Celebrating Excellence Award, Henry Worsley Award and the new Community Impact Award, as well as attend a pre-ceremony reception.
Meanwhile on Friday, the Duke of Sussex will attend the official opening of Silverstone Experience with Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, a museum about British motor racing and the couple will attend the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall on March 7 and the following day the duchess will mark International Women’s Day.
The pair is expected to also join other senior royals including the 93-year-old queen, Harry’s father and heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, and his brother Prince William at the annual Commonwealth Service at London’s Westminster Abbey despite the news that the Queen is unhappy that she hasn’t seen much of her great-grandson, Archie Mount-Batten who is in Canada with proper care.
