Reportedly the Queen did not attend Sunday service today due to climate changes.
Storm Ciara hit Britain today on the back of a Gulf Stream that is travelling at 265 miles per hour. The speed of the Gulf Stream is as fast it has ever been, said the Met Office.
With heavy rains, gales and floods events have been called off. The Queen missed church today because of the threatening weather condition which has been hit by gusts exceeding 90mph.
The last comparable storm to hit the UK was on December 19th 2013 but this year’s Storm Ciara threatens to be bigger.
The Met Office said strong gusts of wind will continue to batter the country for the next two days with wind speeds up to 60mph and snow and ice warnings across the northern half of the country.
Series of events have been called off like; Manchester City’s Premier League match against West Ham, travels on railway, air and road have been suspended.
The Queen who has never missed a church service since the beginning of the year was last seen on Monday as she paid a visit to the RAF Marham in Norfolk, as its Honorary Air Commodore.
The Monarch will be expected to attend the Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey on March 9 and to join in the service would be her grandson, Prince Archie and Meghan Markle.
