The BAFTA Awards 2020 held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday and as President of the organization, Prince William and Kate Middleton, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the BAFTA Awards 2020 at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday. Prince William is the President of the organization and has served for a decade now after succeeding Lord Attenborough as the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA)’s fifth President.
As part of his assignment for the night, the Duke of Cambridge made a Fellowship award presentation to film producer Kathleen Kennedy, who has produced Star Wars movies, including The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and Rogue One, as well as Jurassic Park, ET The Extra-Terrestrial and the Back to the Future trilogy.
This year’s theme was focused on sustainability and attendees were encouraged to wear eco-friendly outfits or recycled clothes.
Kate Middleton, chose a white and gold embroidered floor-length dress which she first wore to a state dinner in Malaysia on the Cambridges’ diamond jubilee tour in 2012.
She completed the look with a beautiful glittering gold clutch bag, by Anya Hindmarch, necklace and earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels -a pair of glittery Jimmy Choo pumps. Stunning!!
Prince William wore a black tux over a white shirt and black bow tie.
