The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living in a rented estate in Canada.
The royals made an announcement to resign from Royal duties and work on becoming financially free.
Reportedly, one of their reasons was to live like normal people but reports have it that the Sussex have increased security at their home in Canada. Prince Harry and Meghan’s rented mansion in North Saanich, Vancouver Island, has a new security camera along the beach, plus a tarpaulin hanging between two trees, TMZ has claimed. The Mille Fleurs mansion, worth £10 million, also has a large white tarpaulin covering the metal gates and “No Trespassing” signs.
The royals got an offer from Madonna, the 61-year-old singer in a video, offering them her New York apartment.
She said: “Harry, don’t run off to Canada. It’s so boring there.”
She added: “I’ll let them sub-let my apartment in Central Park West. It’s [got] two bedrooms, it’s got the best view of Manhattan, an incredible balcony. I think that’s gonna be a winner, that’s gonna be the deal-breaker. Buckingham Palace has got nothing on CPW.
“The view is better, that’s for sure.”
As a man giggled in the background, Madonna added: “Yeah, a bunch of guys in woolly hats.”
Sharing the video to Instagram, she wrote: “Do Megan and Prince Harry want to sublet my apartment on Central Park West??”
Buckingham Palace previously said the Sussexes’ new life away from royal duties will begin in the spring of this year and as president and vice-president of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, let’s see whether the couple will step out for the annual Commonwealth Day service with the royal family at Westminster Abbey in London on 9 March.
