How Sarah Ferguson wishes ex-husband Prince Andrew a happy 60th birthday

It’s Prince Andrews birthday as his ex-wife turned friend, Sarah Ferguson shares a striking black and white photograph, in celebration of his 60th birthday on Instagram.

She captioned it: “Happy 60th Birthday to Andrew.”

The Royal Family also took to instagram to celebrate the Queen’s Son with two pictures, one of Andrew as a baby on the lap of the Queen Mother, and a second more recent photo with a caption that reads:

“On this day in 1960, Prince Andrew was born at Buckingham Palace, the first child born to a reigning monarch for 103 years. Happy Birthday to The Duke of York.”

The Duke of Landmark does not get any traditional Royal celebrations from the public as he recently stepped down from Royal duties following his alleged relationship with Jeff Epstein. Sarah and Andrew were married from July 1986 until March 1992 and have been supportive of each other since. She publicly showed her support for Andrew in the wake of his Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis, taking to Instagram to share a series of photos of him, writing in part:

“It is so rare to meet people that are able to speak from their hearts with honesty and pure real truth, that remain steadfast and strong to their beliefs. Andrew is a true and real gentleman and is stoically steadfast to not only his duty but also his kindness and goodness of always seeing the best in people. I am deeply supportive and proud of this giant of a principled man, that dares to put his shoulder to the wind and stands firm with his sense of honour and truth.”

Andrew is expected to celebrate his birthday with his former wife Sarah, their daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and friends at his Royal Lodge home in Windsor Great Park.

The father of two will also walk his daughter Princess Beatrice down the aisle on May 29th as she marries Edoardo Mappelli.
