HRH, The Queen has been in Norfolk for the festive season and will remain in Norfolk until 6 February. The day she marks her 68th year of her reign and the anniversary of her father King George VI’s death.
Brexit is just around the corner and by Friday, UK leaves the European Union and this means nothing for the royal as this year makes her the fourth longest-reigning monarch in the world.
After canceling her first traditional meeting with the Sandringham Women’s Institute because of a cold, the Queen will carry out her first official public engagements of 2020 next week, visiting RAF Marham in King’s Lynn on Monday 3 February in her capacity as Honorary Air Commodore of the station. Then on Wednesday 5 February, the Queen will open the new Wolferton Pumping Station, also in King’s Lynn, which protects the local area from flooding.
The last time the royal was last seen on Sunday as she attended service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham in the company of her daughter Princess Anne. The Royal wore a red coat with black fur trimming, black hat, patent black bag and heels.
