For Service, the Queen attended St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk in the company of Princess Anne, her daughter.
The Monarch wore a scarlet coat with fur trimming on the sleeves,black hat, black bag and a pair of black shoes. Princess Anne, on the other hand, wore a black and grey coat, and matching hat. She completed the look with black shoes.
Sir Jackie Stewart, a British former Formula One racing driver from Scotland and opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa took part in the service too. Earlier in the week, the Queen cancelled an annual meeting with the Sandringham Women’s Institute due to an illness. A meeting she has been a part of since 1943 as President. She took part in a live game of Pointless, hosted by Alexander Armstrong and was given a coveted Pointless trophy as her team won in a best-five match.
The Queen has also gotten tons of accolades as the longest-reigning monarch currently and she is followed by Hassanal Bolkiah, the 29th Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei who has reigned for 52 years, 107 days and still counting.
