Sandringham summit taking place in room that holds childhood memories for Prince Harry

The Queen is hosting a meeting at her Norfolk estate in Sandringham for discussions on the Sussex’s future as Royal’s. The meeting will take place between Prince Harry, the Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, and their respective private secretaries, today Monday. 

Meghan will be physically absent as she is in Canada with their young son, Archie. 


This important meeting will reportedly hold in the Long Library at Sandringham House. This spot holds memories for both Prince Harry and Prince William- who when they were younger would have tea with Princess Diana, during Christmas. 

The library was also the location for the Queen’s first televised Christmas speech in December 1957.

The meeting will address the Sussex’s financial independence plans, their titles and Royal duties, funding for security. 

While, the Queen has been in Sandringham since after the Christmas holidays, Prince Charles is currently in Sandringham too. He flew in after visiting Oman in the news of the death of 

Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said and the installment of a new ruler. Prince Williams is also nearby at his Anmer Hall and will be attending the meeting.
