The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
Prince William in the preparations for becoming king after his grandmother, the Queen and his father, Prince Charles, his father. This event is the first official duty for the Duke of Cambridge and is the first time the Queen is delegating a state responsibility to Prince William.
In attendance was the Duke of Cambridge supported by his wife Kate, Prince Edward, his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and Princess Anne welcoming 21 African delegations to the Queen’s London home.
The Duke of Cambridge has been pictured welcoming Rwandan president Paul Kagame and Ghanaian president Nana Akufo-Addo to Buckingham Palace, along with Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of Britain.
