After resigning from Royal duties Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choose to live in Canada.
The Duke of Sussex was in London till after the UK-Africa Summit in Greenwich which seemed to be the last time he was seen in public and has now joined his wife and son in their home in Canada. The couple spent their festive holiday on the Vancouver Island and have nothing but good things to say about Canada, including baby Archie.
Here are memories of Harry and Meghan’s relationship on Canada’s ground and the possible reasons why they’ll choose to live in the country.
Their relationship began in London with blind date in 2016, while Harry lives in the UK, his then girlfriend lived and worked in Toronto.
Harry reportedly made visits to Meghan’s townhouse in Seaton Village, giving room for the growth of their relationship.
At the Invictus Games in Toronto, 2017 Harry stepped out with Meghan for their first public appearance. It was nice to see Meghan give support at a sporting event set up by the Prince in 2014 for wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel as Patron.
During an interview with Vanity Fair Magazine, Meghan, revealed that she and Harry are “happy and in love.”
Few months after their public appearance at the Games Meghan moved to London and they announced their engagement in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Their expression of love was seen even in their outfits as Harry wore a Polo shoe
For the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games Toronto, the couple were joined by a special guest – Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland. The pair are very close to Doria and spent last Christmas with her in Canada.

Even Archie, loved his time in Canada over the festive season. During their visit to the Canadian House, the couple appreciated the people for accommodating them and praised the hospitality and landscape they enjoyed during their stay in the country.
