It’s been a busy week for the Duchess of Cambridge, from royal tour to dinners to memorial service and hours after Kate, makes a stop at Evelina London children’s hospital.
The National Portrait Gallery, collaborated with specialist from Evelina London children’s hospital to host a workshop bringing together artist and children of all ages, their siblings and parents with the aim of creating a supportive platform for children’s health through art.
Kate, Patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012, studied art history in University of St. Andrews and took part in creative activities like; illustration, photography and set design.
The Duchess became patron of Evelina London in 2018 under Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, of which the Queen is Patron.

The Trust provides comprehensive health services to children and families from before birth, throughout childhood and into adult life. Evelina London also offers specialist services for children with rare and complex conditions from across south London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex and beyond.
