William Reveals How Prince George Was Different As A Baby To Charlotte And Louis

Prince William has mentioned how he and his wife lost some sleep when their firstborn, Prince George, was still a baby. While presenting cyclists Geraint Thomas with an OBE at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, he asked the 2018 Tour de France champion about fathering his 3-week-old son.

After the ceremony, Geraint told PA,

“He asked how the sleepless nights were going. He said their first one took a while for his sleep to kick in. You don’t really know what to expect, but to chat to him about the rugby and my many was surreal.”

Photographer Terence O’Neill also collected his OBE, while being know to have captured top figures like Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill. Terence praised Kate by saying, “She’s a very good photographer.” Speaking of his subjects, he also added that the Duchess of Cambridge “is also an excellent subject.”

“He said their first one took a while for his sleep to kick in,” said Geraint Thomas

William and Kate are blessed with Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (4), and Prince Louis (1). The royal parents have spoken occasionally about their sleepless nights as parents to the little children. Earlier in May, William welcomed Prince Harry his brother to the “sleep deprivation society.”

At the Anglesey Show in North Wales back in 2003, Prince William made his first public appearance as a dad, where he spoke about little Prince George,

“I’m getting my head down during the day. He is lovely. There have been few sleepless nights but he’s sleeping much better now.”
