Combs confirmed at the Vanity Fair Oscars bash Sunday night that the duo let
bygones be bygones after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald
head during the awards ceremony.
A source subsequently
clarified on Monday of Combs’ comments that the hip hop mogul, “said he spoke
to both [Smith and Rock] separately after it happened which has been
confirmed.” The source claimed Smith and Rock “didn’t speak to each other.”
Hours before the olive branch,
a source told Page Six exclusively that the duo had arranged to work out
their issues after the Academy Awards — during which the “King Richard”
star apologized to everyone except Rock while accepting his Best
Actor award.
“That’s not a problem. That’s
over. I can confirm that,” Diddy told Page Six.
Following the wild awards
show, Smith attended the Vanity Fair bash with his family and danced the
night away, clearly unfazed by the drama that had arisen hours earlier
