Jeff left the BBNaija’s house as the eighth housemate to be evicted and third male housemates to leave the house.
On Sunday, August 4, 2019, Jeff’s journey in the Big Brother Naija House ended but not with memorable moments.
In his chat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after his eviction, Jeff said he doesn’t know why he was nominated but he felt that he has stepped on a few toes. Originally from Anambra but now residing in Jos, the 30-year-old banker no matter what, he enjoyed his time with other housemates and will take it one day at a time.
Here are four memorable moments with Jeff in the BBNaija house.
Emerging first Head Of House
Jeff will go down in history as the first Head Of House in the Season 4 of the Big Brother Naija tagged Pepper Dem. Jeff’s emergence came after the initial 21 housemates gathered to vote for a ‘Head Of House.’ The housemates who were in contention for the most important position in the house included Mike, Jeff, Seyi, and Ike. After a few minutes of voting, Jeff defeated the other housemates with a total of 7 votes. While thanking his fellow housemates, Jeff said he felt humbled to have been selected.
“The truth is that there are so many people in this room that has so much to offer its almost humbling and I am like how could i… I appreciate everyone,” he said.
An epic shouting match with Omashola
In the second week of his stay in the BBNaija house, shortly after his reign as HOH, Jeff went into a shouting match with Omashola, who is known to be loud-mouthed. Omashola was making fun of Jeff’s identity saying he doesn’t know where he comes from but keeps claiming Jos. Reacting to the incident, he said, “One of my highlights will be with Omashola because he shook me and I had to shook him back but the shooking is from somewhere else and I know but it’s okay.”
The relationship conversation with the ladies
In the third week of being in the house, Jeff had a lovely conversation with ladies that included Thelma, Diane, and Mercy on relationships. The ladies, while chatting with Jeff in the room, talked about how men get too comfortable in relationships. Thelma shared her thoughts about Jeff saying, she doesn’t think he is a violent kind of partner, rather he strikes her as a very soft-hearted guy. She went on to say he was the type of guy who would rather make rude comments than getting physical. Diane added by saying Jeff has a very gentle way of talking which makes a very calm guy. The ladies went to talk about how guys would come online on social media and won’t bother chatting with their partners knowing fully well that their better half was online too. Jeff made it clear that there was no rule as to who starts a conversation first when partners are online on social media.
Disagreement with Frodd
Few days before he was evicted out of the BBNaija House, Jeff had it rough with the Head Of House, Frodd. The two argued bitterly over the task given to them by Biggie and rather than let it go calm, Frodd gave a strict order which didn’t go down with Jeff. Both men disagreed over the issue despite the obvious fact that Jeff rewarded Frodd with the HOH position after they had a tie in the HOH challenge.
