This year, 2019 in the list of royal events totaled by the P.A Media with the Court Circular, Princess Anne is the most hardworking Royal. 

The Royal worked 165 days of 2019 and has bagged the title third time in a row. 

However some Royal take up their engagements privately and unofficial assignments sometimes don’t get documented in the Court Circular.


So, let’s where the other members of the royal family rank on the official list here…


Prince Charles recorded 125 days of official engagements during the past 12 months. This includes a visit to Cuba with the Duchess of Cornwall, who worked 84 days and also taking a royal tour of the Commonwealth nations in the South Pacific. He also visited the village of Fishlake near Doncaster, which was affected by flooding, in mid-December. 

However, according to The Times, Prince Charles attended 521 functions.

Prince Andrew worked 90 days of 2019 before he retired from public duties following his controversial interview on BBC’s Newsnight back in November. 


Prince Edward worked 81 days, Prince Harry worked 70 days, The Duchess of Sussex worked 31 days possibly because of the arrival of baby Archie back in May. 

The Duke of Cambridge worked 74 days while the Duchess worked 58 days. Major events in their calendar included a tour of Pakistan, and joining the Queen in welcoming Donald Trump to the UK during a state visit back in June.

HRH the Queen, 93, worked 67 days of engagements in 2019, as well as receiving a daily summary of events in Parliament from government ministers, and from her representatives in the Commonwealth and foreign countries.
