For this year’s UK-Africa reception on Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a gorgeous style to support her husband as they hosted their first official duty for the year in Buckingham Palace on behalf of the Queen.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Princess Royal, were a part of this glamorous event.
Kate was stunning in a shiny long-sleeves red dress by Needle & Thread, paired with matching red heels and her hair down in waves. She completed the look with a gold plated red clutch and confident smiles.
While Prince Williams wore a black suit, white shirt, maroon tie and black shiny shoes. He looked fresh and trimmed.
The event was focused on Heads of State and Government, their spouses and partners, delegates, members of the UK government, and UK and African business figures to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit. The Summit demonstrated the strength of the relationship between the UK and Africa, and showcased and promoted the breadth and quality of investment opportunities across Africa, as well as highlighting the UK’s commitment to supporting economic development in Africa, including through the creation of jobs and new partnerships.
A group photograph was taken with Heads of State and Government and their partners, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Duchess and Duke of Cambridge in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace.
