On her visit to Evelina Children’s hospital, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared elegantly stunning from her hair to makeup.
But one thing was observed from her whole look- her engagement ring and eternity ring were missing from the ensemble.
The Engagement ring given to her by Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge after 8 years of dating is made from 12-carat diamond and her eternity ring by Annoushka, from 18 carat gold. The Royal still wore her gold wedding band from Welsh on her visit.
Her reasons were noble and thoughtful. The mother of three kept away from the bands for health and safety of the children.

Kensington Palace confirmed that the Duchess took off her accessories because she was visiting the children’s wards, and, as such, it was important for the royal to remove any potential hygiene hazards. It’s not the first time Kate has removed her precious jewels for a hospital visit. In January 2018, when she spent time with the children at Great Ormond Street, she appeared without both bands, choosing instead to solely wear her wedding ring.
The Duchess was spotted earlier today as she made a surprise visit to Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-school, in a beautiful teal coat. Again she left her precious accessories and wore only her gold band. Kate has expressed passion over the years for children, their growth and experiences and also giving support to parents of these kids.
Recently she launched a survey, giving the public an opportunity to share opinions on more ways to establish long lasting solution to the problems faced by the Early Years generation.
