It’s definitely a busy year for the Cambridge’s as they add to their duty list a tour of Ireland.
Prince William and Kate Middleton will visit the Emerald Isle from Tuesday 3 March to Thursday 5 March.
Kensington Palace confirms, the visit is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. While, the British Embassy in Dublin tweeted:
“We look forward to welcoming The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Ireland next month.”
Other royals to have visited the country are; the Queenin 2011, making her the first British royal to visit Ireland in 100 years, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in 2019, and Charles and Camilla.
Kensington Palace is yet to confirm the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to coastal towns affected by the bushfires in Australia. However, the couple shared their support via Instagram in a post saying:
“‘We continue to be shocked and deeply saddened to hear about the wild fires that are destroying homes, livelihoods and wildlife across much of Australia. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the people and communities who are affected by this devastating event. We send our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have tragically lost their lives, and the brave firemen who continue to risk their own lives to save the lives of others. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
