New precious photos released of Prince Oscar of Sweden to mark fourth birthday

To celebrate Prince Oscar’s birthday, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden shared new photos of the young royal to mark his special day on Monday. 

Prince Oscar turned four on 2 March and he was captured in a black and white view gazing out of the window dressed in a collared shirt and knitwear. 

Born on 2 March 2016 at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, Stockholm, Prince Oscar is a grandson of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia and third in the line of succession to the

Swedish throne after his mother Crown Princess Victoria and older sister, Princess Estelle. 

He was baptised at the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace in May 2016, wearing the family’s heirloom christening gown, which dates back to 1906.


King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia together with their son Prince Carl Philip, his wife Princess Sofia and their children Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel went skiing in Storlien-having the Swedish Royal family in a photo of fun and relaxation.


Princess Estelle also joined her brother, Prince Oscar ina photo where the siblings posed together, both resting their chins on their hands.

Last month February 23, Portraits were also released by the Swedish royal court to mark Princess Estelle’s eighth birthday both, siblings also shared a shot, giggling together.


Their nephew and nieces, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, Princess Adrienne, Princes Alexander and Gabriel-children of Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, and Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, are not members of the royal house leaving them with no HRH titles and future roles as members of the Royal family. This was announced last year October.
