Traditions were broken yesterday at the commonwealth service.
Last year, the Queen, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Prince Andrew were a part of the procession but there was a slight difference this year.
Harry and Meghan were conducted to their seats, the row after the Queen’s and so was Prince William, Kate Middleton. It said that this was a last minute change as the order of service had already been signed and printed prior to the day.The procession involved only, Prince Charles and Camilia, the clergy, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the Commonwealth Secretary General and the Queen.
Following his alleged relationship with convicted sex offender, Jeff Epstein, Prince Andrew was also not in attendance.
Amidst the crowd was a number of dignitaries like the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Geri Halliwell and her daughter Bluebell.
After the service the royals received ponies from school children and chatted with recognized clergymen, celebrities and attendees.
