Comedian Tracy Morgan suffered an unexpected medical episode during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat on Monday night at Madison Square Garden, causing a significant delay in the first half.
Morgan, who was seated courtside, suddenly fell ill and vomited, with some of it spilling onto the court.
Fan-captured images showed the 56-year-old comedian in visible distress as medics rushed to assist him.
He was eventually placed in a wheelchair and escorted out, holding a towel to his face. Spectators also reported seeing blood coming from his nose as he was wheeled away.
No official statement has been released regarding the cause of the incident. However, the game resumed shortly afterward, with the Knicks leading the Heat 109-84 at the time of the pause.
