Six-month-old baby boy ‘MURDERED’ at home

Four people have been charged in connection with the death of a six-month-old baby, Police said.

Officers were called to an address in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire on February 9 last year after concerns were raised for the welfare of Archie Woodbridge. 

The child was taken to hospital where he died shortly after arrival.

Kieran Humphreys, 32, was charged with the murder of a child, child cruelty and conspiring to pervert the course of justice. 

He has been remanded into custody before his next court hearing at Luton Crown Court on Friday.

The force has also charged three other people in connection to the child’s death. 

Sam Wyatt, 33, was charged with child cruelty and conspiring to pervert the course of justice, and was bailed to attend Luton Magistrates’ Court on March 27.

Sharon Humphreys, 58, was charged with child cruelty and conspiring to pervert the course of justice. 

Karen Smith, 39, was charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice, and both were bailed to attend Luton Magistrates’ Court on March 27.
