Actor Alexander Westwood, known for his role in Netflix’s S*x Education, has been sentenced to 15 and a half years in prison after being convicted of numerous s*xual crimes against women and children.

The 24-year-old, who also appeared in BBC’s Doctors, was found guilty of 26 s*x offences, including the r*pe of a teenage girl during acting classes. His disturbing criminal behavior dates back to when he was just ten years old.

During the trial, it was revealed that Westwood coerced students in his drama class into reading Shakespeare and participating in role-play scenarios while naked. He filmed one aspiring actress naked on his iPad and later demanded £18,000 from her family when she began missing classes following his abuse.

Additionally, he created twisted “game shows” with children, forcing them to watch pornography and undress. Described as a “supreme manipulator,” Westwood exploited his status to prey on victims, displaying a habitual pattern of abuse.

He was convicted at Wolverhampton Crown Court in December and received his sentence in the same court today, garnering applause from the public. Following his release, Westwood will be subject to four years on license, a 26-year restraining order from all identified victims, and a s*xual harm prevention order for the same duration.

Prosecutor Andrew Wallace KC stated that Westwood, labeled a “s*xual predator,” could have faced charges for 77 serious s*xual assaults, but for sentencing purposes, this was consolidated into 26 counts. The evidence presented in court detailed how he repeatedly abused one girl, assaulted a boy, and r*ped a teenage actress.

The first of his documented offences occurred on his tenth birthday, involving a victim who was just six years old at the time. Westwood’s obsession with pornography was highlighted, including a disturbing incident where he forced a girl to drink his urine during a seven-year pattern of abuse.

Wallace commented, “The defendant was found guilty of numerous crimes and showed no remorse, even labeling his victims as liars. His behavior stems from poor upbringing and early exposure to pornography. He exhibited inappropriate s*xual behavior from a young age and poses a significant risk to the public due to his blatant disregard for his victims.”

The prosecutor concluded that the level of planning involved in Westwood’s actions was deeply troubling and reflected a serious breach of trust, emphasizing the scale of his abuse and the risk he poses moving forward.
