Dank Demoss, the Detroit rapper who made headlines after suing Lyft for discrimination, is back in the spotlight.

This time, the rapper went viral after a video surfaced showing her falling while performing on stage.

Earlier this year, Demoss made waves after she filed a lawsuit against the ride-hailing company. She claimed that a Lyft driver refused to let her into his car, telling her she wouldn’t fit.

The incident reportedly took place earlier this month in Detroit when the Lyft driver arrived in a Mercedes-Benz sedan and locked his doors immediately.

“I can fit in this car,” Demoss, also known as Dajua Blanding, said in a video she shared on social media on January 19.

“You can’t,” the driver, identified as Ibrahim, responded, later claiming that there was no room in the back and that his tires wouldn’t be able to handle her weight.

The driver, apologizing on camera, maintained that he was canceling the ride and suggested she order an XL vehicle instead.

“I’ve been in this situation before,” the driver said, to which Demoss replied, “So every big person, you turn down because they can’t fit in your car?”

Demoss, who has publicly stated that she weighs 554 pounds, took legal action against Lyft following the incident.
