According to a source close to the Recording Academy, Kanye was an invited guest as a nominee for Best Rap Song and left the event voluntarily. “He walked the red carpet, got into his car by choice, and left,” the source revealed, emphasizing that neither law enforcement nor Grammys security were involved.
Authorities also confirmed that no complaints were filed regarding Censori’s revealing sheer top, which attracted considerable attention. The couple was seen outside the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday afternoon before their brief appearance at the event.
This marked Kanye’s first Grammys attendance since 2015, a notable return given the backlash he faced over antisemitic comments in 2022. Although he was surrounded by security, sources clarified that the personnel were not connected to the Recording Academy.
While some reports suggested the couple was asked to leave, this has proven to be inaccurate. Kanye and Bianca appeared to have left the event on their own terms after drawing significant attention during their short time there.
